Membership requires:
- New members pay a membership initiation fee of $500 for the first year and annual dues of $300 for the first year’s membership dues.
- Existing Members have an annual membership dues of $300
- Performance of 6 work hours per year per household at beach events, for beach clean up or for other assignments as designated by the board
- Completion of new membership forms upon application
- Ownership of a property within the Twin Beach Country Club or Twin Beach Golf & Country Club subdivision boundaries located below:

Do I have to be a member? Is this a homeowners association?
No. We are a community beach association. Membership is elective within the boundaries. However, we have over 200 families in our neighborhood who love spending their summers (and winters!) at the beach.
The sellers we are buying from are members. Is a membership transferable?
Yes! If your sellers are members in good standing, then they can request a letter from our board as proof of membership and intent to transfer that membership to the new buyer. This letter obtained during a home sale will waive the $500 initial new member dues for the new buyer.
I have a boat and am wondering about the availability of mooring slips.
We have a limited number of mooring slips on our beach property. The wait list is determined by order of application. Currently, there are over 40 homes on the wait list who have been waiting several years for a slip. Any member is welcome to submit an application for a mooring slip and be placed on the wait list. In the mean time, we have a private boat launch with parking for vehicles and trailers, as well as a day use dock available to our members. Upper Straits Lake is an All Sports Lake with no public access, and our launch is just for our members.
Is it a family friendly neighborhood?
Absolutely! We have numerous activities for kids throughout the year, a large play ground, basketball courts, and enough beach toys to last a whole summer! Our boundaries include areas within both West Bloomfield and Walled Lake school districts , which allow for an endless number of new friends to be made!
